Can do, can do. The guy says the Cruz can do.

Way back in February, Award Winning Journalist™ Chuck C. Johnson said he was putting his money where his mouth is — no not there — and plunked down $5,400 on a 35-to-1 bet that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Alberta) would win both the Republican nomination and the presidency.

Yesterday, Cruz announced he was suspending his campaign after a poor showing against front-runner Donald Trump (R-Blowhard) in the Indiana primary.

So far, no reaction from Johnson about that ill-advised bet, but he has been gradually becoming a Trump supporter since February.

In a Feb. 3 post at his blog foundation of his media empire, GotNewsDotCom (which is not us!), Johnson declared that Cruz was a sure bet.

Woe to anyone who followed that advice!

Well, that horse definitely did not come in. It placed several lengths behind the winner, Trump.

If you were one of the people who followed Johnson’s bet, we hope you didn’t bet the rent money.

It would have been better spent here. Just sayin’.
